Usage: Easy as 3, 2, 1!
3 Pills 3 times a day with food (also known as Herbalife Enhancers)
2 Shakes a day (Formula 1 + Formula 3 Protein)
1 Colorful meal of your choice
Mix two scoops of Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix (7 flavors to choose from) with 8 ounces of either skim milk, low fat milk, soy milk (preferable), or even water AND the required amounts of Formula 3 Personalized Protein.
The patented Herbalife Shaker Cup (part of the Herbalife Starter Kit) was designed specifically for this shake and makes the perfect complement (highly recommended).
Water is also essential to help your body perform well so drink lots of water throughout the day (8 glasses minimum)in addition to the shake. Take ALL pills 3 times a day with food.
How much Protein?
So just how much Protein do you need? Consult us free of charge or use the Protein Estimator tool sold here to determine how much protein to use in each shake or follow this general guideline:
Adequate daily protein intakes range from 50 to 60 grams for women to at least 70 to 80 grams for men. An easy way to determine the optimum range of protein you need daily is to divide your current weight in half and then subtract 5 to 10. The numbers you come up with represent the range of total grams of protein you need daily for your body size for maintenance. For example: If you weigh 150 pounds, you should consume between 65 to 70 grams of protein a day.

Lactose Intolerant:
If you have trouble digesting dairy products consider using Soy Milk (the unsweetened kind) which is readily available, very long shelf life unopened, and has lower fat content than even 2% skim milk. Alternatively, try a Lactose-free milk such as Lactaid™ or just plain water.
How Long does this program last?
All the pills in this program lasts 30 days (1 pill, 3 times/day)
The Formula 1 shake in this program only lasts 15 days for weight loss, 30 days for weight maintenance.
Add an additional Formula 1 Shake Mix (750g) for a full 1 month supply.
For Weight Loss:
Replace two meals a day with this shake (and required amounts of Formula 3 Personalized Protein). Don't forget to take Herbalife Enhancers, or as our customers say, "the pills."
For Weight Maintenance:
Losing weight is Delicious and Easy with Herbalife Programs but it is not necessary to replace 2 meals after you lose the weight. To maintain the 'new you', replace 1 meal a day with this shake. Once you drop the pounds you will most likely not need additional Protein as well. Don't forget to take Herbalife Enhancers, or as our customers say, "the pills" if you need them.
For Weight Gain:
In addition to the meals you normally eat throughout the day, have a shake for dessert. This will give your body lots of protein and nutrients to bulk up. Watch your caloric intake and exercise often.
